Thoughts...? (Anyone...?)

Hopefully, someone has come across this blog and is reading it.....!! :P

I was just wondering....
What does one think of piano music that is offered free to anyone who wishes to download and print it?

What do you think of video game music that is arranged and distributed over the internet?
What about those that are of popular music?

In reality, do you think it's right most of the time?

Free Piano Sheet Music

There are some sites out there that offer free piano sheet music.
Now, the thing about the free music is that mostly the music is of popular and video game genres. They are typically arrangements, and usually they aren't done all that well (professionally speaking).

Of course, some people do create a well done arrangement; all you have to do is just take the time to just look around for it... You may find that "gem" sooner or later.

You have to give the arrangers props though: they did take the time to try and arrange/transcribe a certain piece.

One thing you can you can do is look over a piece that you've printed out, and you can "re-work/arrange" the piece. Everything basic should be there; just work on it a little bit if it's not satisfying enough for you.

(Another type of free music is music that is in "public domain," meaning that it's free of copyright and is accessible to everyone and can just be printed and the such. Most of the time, this refers to a lot of classical music which was published by a company a long time ago where the copyright wasn't renewed.)
